Founded in 2009, we decided to specialize in one area that is very important to the online gaming community: Voice communication!

The founders have been part of the gaming community for a decade, and have participated with many clans/guilds and organizations. They found that finding reliable hosting was always a challenge. Not only for voice services, but for everything from Web site forums to game servers.

Many providers tried to be "everything to everyone," offering all the services (game servers, voice, Web site) that a clan/guild would need. All this resulted in them being a "jack of all trades, master of none." After years of problems with quality of service, support, and billing, our founders saw that a dedicated organization would be needed, specializing in one technology.

The Mumble Hosting Decision

There are many Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions available today, like Mumble, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, Mohawk, et. al. So why did we decide to specialize in only Mumble hosting?

  1. Mumble is under active development. The developers behind Mumble are very proactive, and responsive to community requests.
  2. Technological Superiority: Mumble not only makes use of better codecs, it also incorporates de-noising technology to remove background noise, resulting in clear communication.
  3. Low Latency: Other products have up to a three second delay from the time you speak, to the time your clan mates hear your voice. Not so with Mumble! Call quality is just as good as a normal phone conversation.
  4. Open Source: Mumble (and Murmur) are both open source. Feel free to take a look at the source, or modify it to fit your needs if you are so inclined. Or feel free to setup your own Mumble server, without having to pay licensing costs!
